Sweet 16 parties are supposed to be memorable. Olivia's? It was straight out of a movie.

From the moment guests walked into Revelry 675 in Batavia, it was clear this wasn't just a birthday party… it was a moment. Pink, gold, and black set the tone from floor to ceiling, giving the whole evening that perfect mix of glam and drama that only a sweet 16 can pull off. The kind of night you talk about for years.

And then came the court.

One by one, Olivia's closest friends took their place beside her, each lighting a candle on her birthday cake. If you've never witnessed a sweet 16 candle lighting ceremony in person, let me tell you, there is truly nothing like it. The energy in the room shifted completely. It got quieter, softer, more emotional. Every single person watching understood the weight of the moment. These are her people, the ones who showed up for her, and now here they all were, lighting the way into her next chapter. I may have teared up behind the camera. I am not confirming or denying.

Of course, after the candles came the party. Pizza, sweets, and a dance floor that did not quit. Midwest Best DJs brought the heat all night long, and if you've never experienced a CO2 cannon mid-song, Olivia's Sweet 16 would have been the perfect introduction. The crowd absolutely lost it (in the best way). Somewhere between the fog and the dancing, Olivia and her crew stopped everything to film a TikTok right there on the dance floor, because, of course they did. Honestly? Peak Sweet 16 energy. The dancing was nonstop, the joy was completely contagious, and the energy in that room never once let up.

Olivia, you deserve every single second of a night like this. Watching you celebrate surrounded by the people who love you most was an absolute honor to photograph.
