Marisol & Mike Baby Shower

There are some events you walk into and immediately know, this one is going to be special. Marisol and Mike's Rock-a-Bye Baby Shower was exactly that. Hosted at Gather in Pingree Grove on a gorgeous May afternoon, their shower was equal parts heartfelt and totally them: vinyl records around the venue, a crowd of family & friends who clearly love this couple deeply, and an energy that felt more like a concert than a party, in the best possible way.

These two love rock and roll. Like, really love it. And rather than defaulting to the expected pastels and rubber duck centerpieces, they leaned all the way into their story. The result? A celebration that felt completely authentic, wildly fun, and genuinely one-of-a-kind.

Temporary tattoos were a hit (we fully support this as a party activity always). Scratch-off game cards had people laughing and cheering at their tables. And then the gift opening… which, if we're being honest, is always our favorite part to photograph. The joy on Marisol's face, the way Mike kept looking over at her, it was everything.

Baby's first concert may be a ways off, but they're already surrounded by so much love, so much personality, and so much music. Something tells us they're going to fit right in.

It was an honor to be there to capture it all, Marisol and Mike. We can't wait to see what comes next.

Marisol & Mike, thank you for letting us be part of your Rock-a-Bye Baby Shower. Walking in and seeing everything you put together… the records, the energy, the people who showed up for you… it was such a joy to witness and an even bigger joy to photograph.

The love in that room was palpable. Your friends and family clearly adore you both, and watching you open gifts, laugh together, and soak in every moment reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

You two are going to be incredible parents. Your little one is already so lucky, not just because they'll have great taste in music, but because they've got you.
