Lexi & Sheldon Proposal

There are some shoots you show up to as a photographer. And then there are some you show up to as a friend. This one was the latter.

Sheldon and Drew go all the way back. Elementary school hallways, college roommates… the kind of friendship that just sticks. So when Sheldon reached out and asked if we would be there to capture the moment he proposed to Lexi, there was not a single second of hesitation. We said yes before he finished the sentence.

Cantigny Park in March has a quietness to it that is honestly breathtaking. The grounds carry a stillness you don't find in the warmer months. Just open space, soft light, and the kind of calm that makes an intimate moment feel even more sacred. It was the perfect setting for what Sheldon had planned.

We tucked ourselves away, cameras ready, hearts honestly a little full already knowing what was coming. And then it happened.

Watching one of Drew's oldest friends get down on one knee and seeing Lexi's face in that moment is something we will hold onto for a very long time. It was quiet and private and completely, perfectly them.

Lexi said yes. Obviously.

Sheldon, thank you for trusting us with one of the biggest moments of your life. It meant more than you know. Lexi, welcome to the “TCB” Family! We cannot wait to see what comes next for you both.
